Alright... so christians believe that god is .... well... the "thing" that created the Universe, loves them, watches them masturbate... has some grand plan that involves slaughtering millions in natural disasters and wars all for some unknown greater good...
... And they believe that Jesus is both the son of god and god himself (entirely drawing what he was physically made of into question)... and that somehow his being crucified for heresy was all part of the grand plan and means in some completely counterintuitive way that god will NOT slap you around in the afterlife for every time he has seen you masturbate... provided you assume the position and have a little chit-chat with him on a regular basis.
So.... what the sweet heck is the "Holy Ghost" all about?
Is it some counterpoint representing death opposed to Jesus representing life? Is it just Jesus haunting the mortal world and going "woooo" to christians? What is it, and why even bother having such a thing?
