While I was growing up mum was a midwife, and I have two older sisters now both mums, and am a father myself. Many will
tell you that the worst pain ever is labour pains particularly in a
'bad' labour.
However I am not a subscriber to that particular view, as nearly
every mum in the world will tell you that after a while they don't
remember the pain.
Now toothache when caused by an ulcerated root, or even worse
an impacted wisdom tooth goes on and on and on! I know from experience that you never really forget that pain.
Regrettably Novocaine (the pain killer dentists use most commonly) is not completely, or even very effective on me.
The absolute worst pain has to be that of an injection in the
upper or lower jaw!
There is one other contender that falls in a similar vein, and that
is epidurals badly administered during labour. My wife is still
suffering years afterwards.
Which leads us to the last contender which is injections into or taking of marrow from the bones a treatment used in some forms of cancer.
Take your pick I've covered the worst ones above!

In 1992 I was in a head on car accident. I was the passenger in the front seat without my seat belt on. My face went thru the windshield and tore open one inch wide cuts, 5 to 6 inches long on each side of my face. My upper lip was cut all the way to my nose. I also had smaller cuts and scrapes all over my face. This hurt like HELL! One year later I had plastic surgery on the scars on my face and that hurt almost as much as the day it all happened. THIS is the worst pain I have ever felt. Way worse than the natural birth of my son.

I had a vasectomy, had the anaesthetic but shot off the table when the knife went in. No problems said the doc, some people have a high resistance to anaesthetics. gave me an extra shot and waited a few moments, all was then ok.. After that he stuck the knife into the other side forgetting to give me the extra shot for pain relief.
It hurt.

I heard that that there was some sort of survey or stydy done about this and their results were that the worst pain is dismemberment without anethesia and that labor pains are a close second. I've never felt either. The worst pain I've ever felt was the friction burns I get when I fell off of my bike and burned the skin off of both of my knees and half of my forearm.

When I was 10 years old, my mother shut my fingers in the car door. That would have been bad enough, but sadly, the doors were automatic locking, so she took about five minutes to get the doors open again. Agony. Utter agony. Compounded by the fact that the hospital had to drill holes in my finger nails to let the blood out as my fingers had swelled up so much.
Beat that.

Raising my oldest child. When she was about 11 she started acting out. Just starting the hormones changing (becoming a teenager). The stress alone is the worse pain I have ever gone through. It has lasted longer than child birth (even tho both of us almost died). And I still have 5 more years to go. I don't know if I will make it.

Passing Kidney stones. 20+ since I was 17. They barely register. Cluster migraine take 2nd, and the most pain I have ever experienced is trigeminal neuralgia.

mine has to be my migrane. altho when my epidural wasnt done correct that was mighty sore - hot oi running thro the veins in my leg is the only way i can describe it. and getting a chest infection after having a c-section was very painful - trying to cough and hoping your stitches arent going to come out. those were along time ago tho and the memory of the pain is still there - enough to put me off having any more children it was that bad
