I was told that American's cannot fly the American flag in Mexico, so why are they allowed to fly their Mexican flag in the US.

im mexican and that is not true because i have been in mexico and my car has an american flag on the antenna but no one really cares anyway. because they get lots of tourists

You are RIGHT in Mexico is against the law to fly any foreign flag in the streets. It is also illegal to march in the streets if you are a foreigner. It is also against the law to give any foreigner children free schooling. It is also against the law for a foreigner to get a job, any job that a Mexican citizen could do, the Mexican will come first before any foreigner. Now, lately about probably 10 years now the Mexicans are not mugging the Americans tourist that come to Mexico, well just in a few areas. That is Mexico, double standards and they they want American citizen's benefits in the USA when they don't give those same rights to the Americans or foreigners in their country. Do you think that's fair. I don't think so....

they have laws in mexico? i think you can do whatever you want, you just risk the consequence which could be paying off the cops or death, or somewhere in between. nothing is really set in stone in mexico, , , except that they hate us and want to come live near us

Well in the U.S. there in the First Amendment that says Freedom of Speech as long as it doesn't harm someone's security.
Cannot say anything about Mexico.
