If not, why not? How about Yahoo, Diebold, Raytheon, Boeing, or Lockheed Martin?

Should the US government hire the one who gives the lowest bid?

All these companies are capable of delivering.

It was probably 10+ years ago (?) Somewhat of a sci-fi futuristic type. A community of people whom the "government" had them on pills so there were no feelings. Some rebelled and were considered "outcasts" and fugitives? Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for your help.

I found a black kitten a few weeks ago. He matches the description of a Bombay (in features and personality). But it seems weird that someone would abandon such an expensive cat...

My daughter has a cold I'm guessing since that's what we all had, but she keeps coughing a lot at night and she has a lot of snot (sorry!) I keep sucking it all up with a baby asperater and using the baby saline salution, but it's not helping. I try proping her up at night and that deosn't help either. All those are suggestions from her doctor, and it's not working!! She's not runnig a fever or anything, but she's just been really fussy. Any suggestions would really help! How can I help her get over this? It's been about 2 weeks she's had this and I feel so bad for her.

I have a three year old male Chihuahua that we adopted a year ago. The only time that he pees in the house is when we are sleeping. I crate him when I'm out and we tried crating him at night, but he puts up a fight. He pees by the bed. We pick up the water about 9pm. Also what can I do to get the smell out? I have tried so much.

I recently purchased a home and had the air conditioner/heater checked by a HVAC mechanic. He found that a wire was keeping the Air Conditioner compressor from coming on; he connected it. He then checked the heat and said everything was working fine. Well now, a couple months later, it's getting cold, so I've turned on the heat. Only cold air is coming out of the gas furnace. Is there something I should be doing since this is the first time I've turned on the heat? Please help.

In Israel, The Jerusalem Post had selected Paul Wolfowitz as its Man of the Year for 2002. The Post stated: "On September 15, 2001, at a meeting in Camp David, Wolfowitz advised President George W. Bush to skip Kabul and train American guns on Baghdad. In March 2003, he got his wish. In the process, Wolfowitz became the most influential US deputy defense secretary ever. The Post added: "The war in Iraq had many authors:

"When President Bush says, "America will not permit the world's most dangerous regimes to threaten us with the world's most destructive weapons" -- that's Wolfowitz talking. When the president calls for "a new Arab charter that champions internal reform, greater political participation, economic openness and free trade" -- that's Wolfowitz's talking, too....."
