It is available both ways, you can tell by the vin (serial) number. The 5th digit will be an S or T, the S is 2wd the T is 4wd.
1GKET16S866156034 this would be 4wd
1GKES16S866169157 this would be 2wd

It comes with rear wheel drive but 4 wheel drive is opintional.

Is this a 4WD vs AWD question? Envoy is not available with AWD, only RWD or 4WD.
