The whole sentence is: "the mask is meticulously decorated by delicate patterns carved in high relief -- design popular in the 19th century.' Should I change the last sentence to 'a design popular in the 19th century' instead? Is the 'a' necessary?

I went out with this guy a yr younger than me for a year and half. then i broke up with him because i found something gross he wrote. i love him sooo much, but he likes another girl (perfect looking). i try to deny myself and make myself not like him, but i really cant, hes soooooo perfect.

As I was walking home from a grocery store this morning, a man who was perceptibly unemployed and not so attractive approached me and asked me if I wanted to go out with him. This is not the first time this has happened, so now I am starting to wonder. These men obviously think that I have lower standards. If *I* have lower standards, than that implies that I cannot do any better....? Or am I wrong?

i am 13 going on 14 next month. and i play soccer and all these sports and get enough rest and stuff. but in the last year i have felt continuous harsh pain in my knees, ankles, legs, and feet whenever i run walk or stand. and when i stand for long periods of time (15 minutes or higher)i get really dizzy and almost fall over unless i sit down. does any one kno what is wrong with me?

it also effects my performance in soccer, i could play every position possible but now i can hardly run because of all the pain.

I just had a huge argument with my husband. He asked me to return a book to the library and I did. He put another book together with the one he asked me to return. As he was leaving I asked himwant this one too he said "Do as I said" ...Now he asked why did I not return both.... I am so mad. But this is not the first time, he is always hang-up on small details and makes me so mad... HE DOES NOT SEE that I work, clean take care of the kids and him too.... WHO TAKES care of me??? Why are husbands a bit dumb at times and do not understand that they too have to apologize if they did something wrong? He is wrong how the hell am I suppose to read his mind. SO my question is why don't husbands apologize when they are wrong?

I have to make a choice. Either I end getting the shot now and be ready to have children when I am 32 or wait and have my first child when I am 40.

I just turned 30, am single, and my GYN is concerned about my fertility. I've been on Depo for 6 years due to severe cramping. The doctor told me that it could take up to 3 years after stopping the shot to conceive. She told me she wants me to be ready when I find Mr. Right...and not have to wait. (I've wanted to have a baby since I was 15, just wanted to be married first - but I have no problem being a single parent. )

Just looking for someone to help me with this big decision!
