I need a liquid to use in a sculpture that will not grow algae, is not corrosive, flammable, smelly, toxic.

Similar properties to water - viscosity, evaporation point.

It will be exposed to plastic, metal & glass.
The container will have a lid, but it is not airtight. It will also have an aquarium pump blowing bubbles through it.

must not harm the pump, or the plastic submerged in the liquid..

I will be using food dye to colour it, so the liquid can be clear, or could be green or blue (not too thick that you cant see through it)

I have used water before but after 3-6 months it goes all yuck with algae & stuff, which is a pain because it takes days to pull the thing apart to clean it up.

I have tried water with algae inhibitors (ie pond cleaners) but that does not work.

Something that doesn’t cost too much, and is easy to get

It can be something that is added to water, as long as it meets the conditions above.

If it lasts for years that would be great

I live in the State of California. I've been told by my best friend who grew up with a single parent and he rarely seens his father, has said I'm ****** stuck and can't get out of paying child support. Courts always go in favor of the mother. I'm proven to be the father of a newborn baby but i'm not ready to be a father. I can barely hold down a steady job. I'm 25. The mother is filing for sole custody, and child support. Even if I give up my rights and say I want no visits I still have to pay child support. Why do us guys get the short end of the stick?

Both my bestfriend and my boyfriend are extremely close to me. I love my bestfriend like family but my boyfriend also. Problem is, my bestfriend doesn't approve of my boyfriend. She respects that we love eachother and that I'm not going to leave him, but it upsets me that we can't all talk together. I try to make equal time for both of them but sometimes it upsets me that I have to choose between who to spend time with and who not to, instead of them just making an effort to get along. I've tried talking to both of them, but they both blame the situation on the other. I've been with my boyfriend for two years but have been bestfriends with my friend for three, is it wrong to choose my boyfriend over my bestfriend, or to choose my bestfriend over my boyfriend? I care for them both so much. What do you think I should do?

My girlfriend does. We're going to get married and have children and tra-la-la. All that jazz. She wants our son, Michael, to be gay. She really REALLY wants him to be gay. And I've told her I think it's wrong to hope your children are gay. With homophobia and the way people act towards homosexuals why would you wish that on your child?

It's not that I find homosexuality to be wrong. Obviously, lesbian here. It's that I find homophobia wrong and I find it wrong to want to thrust someone into a world filled with that.

Obviously, if I have a gay son or daughter I will love them. I would even if I were straight.

I just want to know if this is common. I read a Post Secret postcard where someone wrote "I will be disappointed if my children are straight" and it reminded me of my girlfriend.

Am I wrong for not wanting my kids to be gay?

Whenever I do... it only hurts me. I don't know. But what I do know is that in the end, it seems so pointless. I feel ashamed for trusting people because in the end... they are not as good as friends as I thought they were. I never had a true friend. I have learned over time to never fully trust people... and always be ready for them to turn there backs on me. Because they will...

I'm not a bad person. In fact everyone that knows me in real life has only kind words for me. I always smile and I'm nice to everyone. I always help others but in the end that is all they want. They want to complain to me about their life... and in return they don't want to hear about mine...

Should I continue to be there for others... when no one is there for me...? I feel as if I’m a shadow. Helping everyone with their problems and being silent about mine. I hate being silent all the time... But I don't think there is anyone that cares.

At 43 I am on permanent diasabilty. I have tried Fentanyl, Percocet, Methadone, and am up to over 260 mg of Morphine daily.
The issue is a lesion removal from my cervical spine requiring 2 surgeries cause permant nerve damage.
Do any physicians feel another option is better as my tolerance to Morphine wanes ?

Today me and my youngest daughter went to my friend's house for lunch. She lives in a residential neighborhood where all of the parking is public. There was one parking space on the street and it was accross the street from her house on. There was this guy with his leaf blower outside, just standing almost in the middle of the street, and the chord to it was all over the place I wanted to park, I kind of hovered around the spot, giving him the indication that I wanted to park there and that I would wait for him to move himself and his cord, and he just stood there starring down at me like I was some criminal or something. I then got sick of this and just pulled into the parking space and he starred at me more. I then got my daughter and went into my friends house for lunch. When I came back, he was still there and was still giving me a dirty look like I wasn't supposed to be there when it was a public parking place, and a public street!

at first my ipod video 30gb was working fine then it gave me the folder with explamation point icon. I tired restoring it by holding down the select and menu button nothing happened...then i also tired the hold switch back and fourth like the apple.com site says again nothing happen. Now its like completely dead nothing appears on the screen. I re-downloaded itunes and all the updates again nothing. I hook up my ipod with the usb cord it came with and it seems to do nothing....my computer doesnt even know its hooked up. I got it as a gift from my dad i got the reciete box everything....i was wondering if any one knew what i could do!?? i dont have warranty on it and theres no apple store near where i live its like 2 hours away. And everytime i call apple i get a recording and no help. Can i take it to bestbuy where i bought it? thanks and i hope i get this darn thing working
