When we square or cube a number it becomes bigger
example: (2) cube = 8
but why is it that when I square or cube such fractions such as 1/2 or 1/4 or 1/8, it becomes smaller ?
example: 1/4 < 1/2 but when I square half then it becomes one fourth which is actually smaller !!!

My girlfriend and I are very in love adn very attached together ..Since, we have 6 months our of relationships arguing about religion ...She seems to be the one who wants to win and don't want to compromise, but would like me instead to compromise everything to make it possible ...but, I am kinda in state of indecision since s few months...I love her but things seems complicated and requires a lot of sacrifice from me for the sake of relationship ..I don't know if i will be able to bear that all life long ..
I don't know if I will fit her beliefs..I would to stay open, but I am hesitant ..I have a belief too, but it seems not to be important for her ... well, don't know what to do ...I love her and wouldn't like to se her, but on the other, I see it could be a headache in the future ..what should I do if I can't decide whether to stay or to move on ..?any advice ..?

I'm getting annoyed by sellers (especially eBay shops) not leaving feedback until after the customer has left theirs. The customer must fulfil their obligations of the transaction first, ie. provide delivery information and pay. Surely, it's up to the seller to leave feedback at that point instead of hedging it?

I've stopped leaving feedback altogether for sellers who do that. What do you think? Fair enough?

My friend remembers when he was little that he was at a bonfire and someone was going around asking
"Who wants potatoes in their jackets?"
He said no immediatly because he couln't understand why anyone would want a potato in thier jacket!
I used to think when a report was on the news and the reporter said "If you have any information, get intouch with the police" that you had to actually TOUCH a policeman then tell him!

All day I hear things on here saying that I am oppressed and all Muslim women are being dealt some sort of wrongs. So I'm going to give everyone a chance to tell me what they think. I will answer everyones post indivudually. I have half and hour before I must leave to go to work, but what I don't get answered before I leave, I will answer when I get home.
