A friend told me that they was a (now frowned upon) practice of drowning the birds in some kind of alcohol to flavour them. This sounds like it could be true but I can't find any information about it anywhere. Help!

I would like to bring home a present for my wife. However whenever I buy flowers she gets upset as she feels it's a waste of money. (she has seen real poverty and thus finds everything a waste of money). I want to give her something special though. As a woman what would you like to receive even if it were cheap. I tried buying her some jewels as they last a lifetime and she loved that but I don't have money for that. I would like to spend about 50 pounds (80 dollars).

My mum brought home a loaf od bread and claim that it is wholemeal bread.

However, although it looks like it contain some grains/nuts, the bread appears to be more white than brown. Is it made of white flour? Or are some whole wheat breads white?

P.S. The bread has no labels.

Since we know Hillary wants to be president, but could never get the votes. How likely is it that they do it this way?

Al Gore with Hillary as VP wins the 2008 presidential election and after a year or so Gore steps down for "Health Reasons." This makes Hillary the new president and the first woman president and she CAN CIRCUMVENT THE ELECTORAL PROCESS that she knows she could not othrwise successfully overcome.

How plausible is this?

The point of my quetion is that the Earth is rotating at some stupid rate, something like 10,000 mph and I was just wandering if this could happen! I know this is a stupid pointless question but it's one of those things I've always been interested to know!
