If your mattress is infested with dust mites, you can take it
outdoors to the drying yard and sun it well for about 6 hours.
The heat will kill most of the dust mites and the rest would
jump out.
However, if your house or certain part of your house is full
of dust mites, I suggest you call in the experts to control
and remove them quickly.

Vacuum everything possible, I even do the curtains and any stuffed toys, eliminate as much fabric as possible i.e. wooden floors, leather upholstry and as already said use matress and pillow covers on your bed, wash frequently and hoover your matress regularly. Dust mites survive on dust which is mainly made up of human skin cells (gross) SO GET YOUR MARIGOLDS ON ;-)

Coat your entire body in chemical sealant. Perhaps Ronseal. Do the same to anyone else living in your home. Then you won't be able to shed skin, and the dust mites will move on...
...just watch out for those pesky fluff mites!

there is not any longer too lots you're able to do with the mattress wanting fumigation. i will checklist off some chemical compounds that ought to kill the mites, yet they're fantastically poisonous to people too (and that i does not prefer to sleep in a mattress uncovered to those chemical compounds). once you wash your sheets use bleach, and that ought to guard the subject.

Hire a steam cleaner cleaner from a hire shop. I believe the temperature is 110 celcius ( Hotter than boiling water) I think they also vacuum as well.

depends on what they are living on.lets take it its your mattress. first hoover or in my case dyson, the mattress getting in all the edging and little lines of stitching using a crevice tool..then hoover/dyson the rest as well, thoroughly. warm up your steam iron, test it on a corner to make sure it doesn't burn..and steam iron all of your mattress .don't forget the ends and sides and don't forget to turn it over and do it again..let it air and dry..sprinkle some baby talc on it(thinly not to much and hoover /dyson off again..)

Nope you cant kill them, they are just there! What you can do is use hypo allergenic pillow covers, sheets, mattress pads etc to help you breath better if you are allergic... but sorry, no way to kill them!
