i'm studing in the U.S next term ..
and i'm hell of a downloader :S
i heard its illegal out there ,, you think any1 will even know that i download ? :D
and whats the consequenses

its legal if you pay for them or they (the songs) are unlicensed,
basically you can get a piracy charge and have to pay fines and for all downloaded songs.

Morpheus, grokster, limewire, and other peer-to-peer software of their ilk is illegal in the USA go to the recording industry's big license tracker website for a list of legal download sites and watch your step download the wrong stuff and you will be doing hard time in federal super max prison. When I have the website URL for the legal downloading sites I'll post it here.

It's okay, as long as you aren't burning CDs and then selling them to people. It's also okay if you plan on buying the CD or whatever later on.

I do it, but you can get a lot of spyware and its possible to get viruses. So be careful.
