What difference does race make? They have a unique culture I find very interesting. I feel sorry for people in China having to live under that government and work the way they do. It is wrong and I don't know how the hell they put up with it.

Not really, they live in a fairly similar way, except that they are limited to having only one child and that the language is completely different.
I wouldn't say alien, but I think tribal African cultures seem extremely different. As they live in mud huts, have no water, gas or electricity, walk around topless and stick huge wood discs in their lips and rings around their necks. Not that I'm criticising but it does seem strange.
