My son is seven years old. I was incarserated in prison when my girlfriend found out she was pregnant. I guess while I was in prison she got arrested for possesion/distributing illegal substances. Her parents took the custody of my son, but didn't adopt him. They now want to adopt him (she is still in prison and doesn't want him) My parents paid child support to her parents while I was in prison and since I've been out I've paid child support. Her parents still want to adopt...is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? Shouldn't I get full custody of my child? I cannot afford a lawyer and I'm not sure what I shoud do? What steps should I be taking? I think the trouble I've gotten into really makes me a "bad parent" in the courts eyes.

Four years ago my then best friend & I got into an argument that caused us to part as friends. Following the incident, she seemed to make great effort in severing the friendships I formed with other people. She constantly talked about me &, according to some, spread very false rumors about me being pregnant & aborting the child. I'd laughed at it at the time, but when rumors of all sorts began to come, I became depressed. She never confronted me herself but I'd hear bits & pieces from 'whisperers' & mutual friends who asked me not to repeat.

This was in boarding school. Now we're both going to the same university & I've found out she's continued to do the same. I'm not as bothered by it, but it hurts tremendously. I'm considering confronting her but I'm not sure how much it would achieve. I have a feeling that she's trying to get to me and I'm a little worried that forcing an argument would mean 'giving in'.

How would you handle this? Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

it started about a week a go at night when i was on my computerlokking at some of the new stuff on furry when i came
about this stoy on the web after i read it my hole life changed
and something happed that night to me something that should not have after i read that story i started to feel depressed i am not talkin about a little i meen real depressed so depressed i could not move eat goto the bathroom it stayed that way all night i am a furry and gay and up till that night i would not admit this to my self because of my religion but i new what i was every night when i got on my computer but i some how would tell my self that it was not true but after i read that story i lost my control over that part of my life when i started telling my self this was ho i was the depression losend its grip a little but it came back and now the depression is so bad i hade to tell my self that i was not human that i was a human wolf just to keep it from killing me help i cant last much longer
