also, please don't comment on the government, i want to know the perception of AMERICANS and NOT AMERICA as a nation.

They are friendly but very secular. often they don';t know about life outside their country and state. many do not care about learning foreign languages or exploring the world outside the USA. Often when they travel tey disrespect the people's cultures by not learning any of the language, being too boisterous and not learning about the culture too cconcerned with buying ten "I love france!" t-shirts

Generally, they are percieved as friendly, but sometimes to the point of being loud, obnoxious and know-it-all. Also, occasionally people will put you on the spot for political/government policy that you may entirely disagree with. Bush has done more to destroy perception of the U.S. and of Americans than any other president in my lifetime (eight of them in all)

I dnt think of every person dislikes human beings all of us merely noticeably a lot dnt like Bush. I used to stay in Canada and now stay in Scotland or perhaps all human beings right here dislikes Bush. I personaly Like human beings i think of they are fighter and could continually arise for whats incorrect and whats precise. of course there are the atypical individual who doesnt do the worldwide a lot of sturdy yet what different united states of america doesnt have that. I merely extremely dont like Bush in any respect!!!

i live in romania.many americans when they heard where i was from asked me:really?wow!they didn't say it but secretly they were thinking:oh!poor u!like not living in america is the most unfortunate thing that could happen.and also americans are known for their fast-food addiction.i don't mean all of them!i've met some really nice americans and i don't want 2 discriminate anyone.

hi,im from england and your question is excellent,but hard to answer because we only realy see what you see on tv and read in the press.but people draw perception from that and this can be bull or what the gov want us to see.i dont know any american people,odd but true! i would like to talk to any american people to find there truth please email me. kev uk

generally, Australians tend to see you guys as arrogant, overweight, uneducated, but you know, just a stereotype, there have been some really great Americans.

I don't like Americans, the people, I find there all big-headed d**ks who only seem to care about themselves and their country and look down on everyone else.
