Can do the cold air intake, also maybe a bigger throttle body, and mass air meter.Better ignition wires. underdrive pulleys. aftermarket headers(better flow). Hope these are a little helpful. Good luck.

*sigh*. Listen, these dumb autoparts stores and fly-by-night auto parts makers have been preying on teenagers with crappy cars for years, promising to turn your '81 yugo into a hotrod. NONE OF IT WORKS. Spitfire spark plugs DO NOT WORK. Changing air filters, oil filters, fuel filters DO NOT INCREASE HORSEPOWER, all it will do is possibly restore some of the original horespower that was lost due to the filters being plugged. It is negligable. If you want a fast car, BUY a fast car. There is nothing more embarassing and hilarious than watching some teenager with a 4 banger honda with huge chrome exhaust pipes, revving their engines like banshees, and then "racing" at the light. The cars are slow as mud--most people won't even bother engaging them in such absurdity, so they think they're cars are fast. It's rediculous and I think in a few years they will be ashamed of themselves.
Get a new engine. Why did you buy a mustang with the v-6 to begin with? You should have gotten the GT with the v-8. If you want more horesepower, that's what you're going to have to do.

Nothing.
There is an old American saying: speed costs money; how fast do you want to go? There are many things that can be done to modify the 3.8 into a monster, but almost nothing that will make a noticeable difference for cheap. A decent, free flow exhaust will improve torque and hp through-out the rpm range somewhat but only a blower and major programing and intake mods will begin to match the 5.0 or 4.6 cammer. Remember, there is NO substitute for cubic inches.

anyone who says you cant make horses from your car dont no nuttin b0out cars. if you can make a silly rice burner have 600 horsepower you can certainly get 350hp outta your v6. it wont be cheap. NOS superchargers. cold air ecus port and polish all good ways to make horsepower. the only pro with less displacement is you need to combine many of these. i dont like NOS and never use it. i would get ahold of california mustang. also check out ford racing. steeda, saleen,, and summitracing. they all have websites. DONT LET NO ONE TLEL YOU YOU CANT MAKE HORSEPOWER. if you have ther resources you can do anything

The computer module chip. it controls the fuel air -ratio and will increase your horsepower and performance. You can can also change your sparkplugs to the platinum model to really get rid of
all that fuel that enters your cylinders, helps get rid of excess burn.

to make any good amount of horsepower you need to spend some money. talk to the professionals, and stay away from the backyard mechanics.
