it would depend on the type of shoe - a flip flop, prob avbly only costs a dollar or 2, you get more expensive - sandal, clog, sneaker - pump I guess. even some exotic ones. Some are $2 dollar shoes, some are $200 dollar shoes.

A cry for art

If Orwell really said 'Some ideas are so stupid that only an intellectual could believe them', he might have added that there's no notion so inane that some artistic person won't come up with it. On the front of the Sunday Times magazine today there are photographs - 20 of them - of young children crying. They were made to cry by the photographer, Jill Greenberg, arranging for their mothers to give them lollipops and then take the lollipops away. And for why?

[She] intended her images of sobbing babies to be a metaphorical commentary on what she sees as the evils of the Bush administration and the dangerous influence of the evangelical religious right.
What a bold concept. And the best way of achieving this aim:
I was trying to make images that made you feel something, because we are so inundated with images in our culture that oftentimes people don't feel anything.
We've all got deadened feelings, so... I know, I'll distress a whole lot of kids. And what else should their distress stand for but - all together now, assembled progressives and sound-thinking well-meaning folk - 'the Bush administration'.

Of course, one could make the case that the greatest threats to the freedoms of the West are posed by the head-choppers, plane-exploders, their many merry supporters, and the nuke-seeking state that supports them.

But don't expect the artists to make the case. They saw what happened to that Theo Van Gogh fellow...

Water is flowing at a rate of 5 meters cubed per second into the conical tank shown at the right. (the conical tank is an upsidedown cone that has a diamater of 60 meters and a height of 120 m. and then there's water filled into it and the height is "h", and it doesn't tell you the radius. )
a. Find the volume "V" of the water as a function of the water level "h".
the answer in the back of the book says: [(pi)(h cubed)] over 48.
but i got [(pi)(h cubed)] over 12.

and when, your spouse is in denial of his condition and you cannot do anything about it and just waited for the days for him/her to go...and you feel helpless when the patient himself/herself refuse treatment! I am under alot of stress... please advise should I force treatment on him cos he absconded from hospital before..

If I don't go to work tomorrow, no one at work gets paid on friday cuz I do payroll.

But, I am starting to feel sick to my stomach. My throat hurts, and I have no voice. i have a wicked cough.

A Japanese, Chinese and Korean are captured by cannibals to be eaten. But before they eat, they have decided to have fun with them. So the cannibal says "All three of you must bring 10 fruits which must be the same fruit and of identicle size". So the 3 men hurry off. Firstly, the Japanese man comes with 10 apples of the same size. The cannibal goes "Now i will shove them up ur ***!" and the Japanese goes "what?". And the cannibal goes, "we will shove it up ur *** and if u make a single sound we will eat u, but if u dont u r free to go." The cannibal starts shoving apples up the man's ***. On the 7th apple he screams and is eaten. The Korean man comes with 10 cherries. The cannibal does his little talk again and starts shoving cherries up the man's ***. On the 9th cherry, the Korean man laughs and is eaten. In heaven the Japanese man asks "y did u laugh, u only had 1 more cherry!" and the Korean man answers "I saw the Chinese man coming with pineapples!!"

I gave my boyfriend oral sex (both our first time) and now I'm beginning to get worried about HIV. He had never had any sexual activity before, but could his parents have it and not know? ...Am I worrying over nothing? He comes from a good family, and very open- if they knew they'd tell him. We had a not-so-friendly breakup, so I cant talk to him about it. Any thoughts would help.

I have been married for 28 years, out of those 28 years i would say that first 10 were good, so after that i call it one way traffic, my ex change a lot, she start to treat me & three girls like ****, yelling, cursing at averything, controlling,nothing was good enough, she always had something to grumple about, so having three gilrs, bills to pay (morgage), i stay with her for nother 18 years, (having to pay maintenance for three girls & my bills my income is not big enough to cover all those even that i work seven day roster three shifts full time) so thats the one of the reason that i stay with the family for nother 18 years, first to get my girls trough education, so i left three years a go & i am still having that feeling that we together, i need to know how do i move on with my life cause that together feeling is stopping me. how long does take to get over broken marriage?
