I gave my boyfriend oral sex (both our first time) and now I'm beginning to get worried about HIV. He had never had any sexual activity before, but could his parents have it and not know? ...Am I worrying over nothing? He comes from a good family, and very open- if they knew they'd tell him. We had a not-so-friendly breakup, so I cant talk to him about it. Any thoughts would help.

And what is the HIV test like btw?

If he never had sexual relations with another person or shared drug needles, it's very unlikely that he has it or that his parents do. Don't worry. It's better to be safe than sorry, though. Planned Parenthood would be your best option. Look them up online to find one in your area. www.plannedparenthood.org the test will be easy, confidential, and painless. They just swab some cheek cells from your mouth and call you a week or two later. Its very 99% accurate.

If he has never had any sexual activity before this, and he did not contract HIV from a blood transfusion or other method, then you should be fine. If his parents have it, it does not necessarily mean that he has it too. Firstly, he could only get it from his Mom, if she had it and he was in her womb. Furthermore, if she did have it, that is not a guarantee that he would have it also. If you are worried, go get an HIV test to check it out.

go for a HIV test right away and 3 months later again. if both of them show negative you dont have to worry. they just take a little blood and 4-5 hours later they tell you. there is nothing major involved

Men use love to get sex women use sex to get love. women are on the wrong side of this equation. The HIV test is a simple blood test. Get one at a local clinic its anonymous. Then follow up every 6 months or what they recommend. Now save your self . Casual sex is disappointing you didn't say if he pleasured you.
resist the temptation or at least use protection.
men who don't want to use protection aren't worth it. Good Luck

its just a simple blood test, if you are worried asking your bf to go with you and get checked out also. Everyone should get checked about 1 time per year for STDs. From one blood test they can test for all of the common STDs.

Go get checked out.
Planned Parenthood
But I don't think you can get it like that unless you have an open sore on/inside your mouth.
Could be wrong tho take the test.
It's quick, fairly inexpensive and private.
