If I don't go to work tomorrow, no one at work gets paid on friday cuz I do payroll.
But, I am starting to feel sick to my stomach. My throat hurts, and I have no voice. i have a wicked cough.
I already missed Tuesday, no holiday pay for Monday, and they sent me home today.

There must be someone else who can do the work, just this once. If you go in and share your germs with everyone else they may not be back to work on Monday. If you are the only one who can do the work then stay away from others, get done fast, and get out of there. Sounds like what I have now, so don't for get lots of juice and the occassional aspirin. (NO Tylenol, they are toxic to your liver.)

Sound like you have strep throat. For today take a cold and flu medicine.It will make feel more comfortable, but call your Dr. tomm. u need an antibiotic which will kick in within 24 hrs. Don't take a hot bath you might pass out from being weak.

I think if you feel really bad then you should stay home and get some rest and lots of liquids. If you feel really bad about people not getting paid, then see if you can make it in for a couple of hours so that you can do payroll. In any case I hope you feel better soon.

it sounds terrible to me. you better stay back at home. Most important thing is "Health." The rest matters second. If you are alive and well, the workers will get paid may be not this friday but they will eventually. So, health comes first before anything. And thanks for answering one of my questions. may be we two can be friends.!
