They believe in ghost's, in rabbit's feet for good luck, UFO's which never seem to "abduct" anyone beyond a level 70 IQ, Fortune Tellers, Horoscopes which half a billion people who have the same sign.
But they don't want to know God...or how to live a life that may require some self-observation.

That's funny, since believing in gods and miracles and other supernatural stuff is by definition believing in the paranormal.

Perhaps they need to believe in things like that in order to justify in their minds their belief's in their faith. Its hard for some to place perfect love into something that for most people seems intangible.
Perhaps for some, the belief that its just us out there in this big ole verse just seems too lonely.

Who's to say that "God", (since no one has ever SEEN Him), isn't an alien from outter space who, yes, created the human race to live here on this planet?
