I'm a Christian by faith, but was not a born Christian. When I first learned about it, I was really intrigued by its miracles and such, and started to believe that God is marvellous. However, as years passed by, I notice that there are so many Christians freaks out there who proclaim that they believe in God and brag things about Christianity but they fail to show others that they are Christians. They tend to be proud, praying loudly in public, have no mercy towards people who seem inferior to them, and also become very 'holy' in church, which annoys me the most. Hence, I've started disliking these Christians and begin to feel...are all Christians supposed to be like this? I feel funny because I've been believing in God for 7 years and I know we are not supposed to be acting like this. Honestly, this has stopped me from worshipping in church anymore. Please help. Serious answers are appreciated. Thanks.

I understand that Americans get only one or two weeks' paid leave per year, even if they are in quite senior positions. Here in the UK 4 weeks is standard, more as you move into more senior positions. I wondered how historically it had come about that Americans get such little time off work, how they feel about it and how it works in practice - do they actually only go away for one week a year or do they have some unofficial way of getting a decent break from work?
