No cure but you can get through it without suffering too much. Go to the drug store and pick up Halls Severe Sore throat Lozenges for your throat (they are awesome). Get Afrin No-Drip Nasal Spray for your nose being stuffy. Get Tylenol Sinus and Cold pills for your headaching. Get a box of Suda Care Shower Soothers Tablets. You put these in your shower and it opens you up so you can breathe better. Be sure you are drinking lots of liquids (hot ones soothe sore throats) and eat something. Rest as much as possible and take NyQuil if you are having trouble staying asleep. You should be better in 1-3 days.

* get plenty of rest
* wash your hands
* only use a tissue once and have them cleared away often
* put a cold pack on your forhead and nose to reduce the swelling
* rub some Vick's on your chest and under your nose
* put some lip balm on so your lips don't crack while you are breathing through your mouth
* use a humidifer in your bedroom
* use cold meds, they won't cure you but they will help
* for the sore throat - you can try a throat spray or make ginger tea - grate some ginger root, simmer on the stove in water, add freshly squeezed lime juice and honey, strain into a mug and sip slowly
* enjoy homemade chicken soup
* drink ginger ale, don't overload your tummy with spicy stuff
* before bed .. neo citran drink with a couple of shots of nyquil for a chaser
* have herbal tea with honey .. the honey soothes your throat
* suck on cough drops
* relax and sleeeeep

Hope you feel better soon! (take some vitamins too!)

Well, there is not really a cure for it, but what i do is take tylenol because i'm allergic to aspirine. But, i also get those nasal sprays which really helps to breathe almost 100%. Also for the throat I take a sore throat liquid from also tylenol which helps a lot for at least a few hrs. Advil is excellent when it comes to colds, so you should try it if you are not allergic to aspirine

there is no cure for the cold yet. what you can do for the sore throat is take hot water, pour some honey in it and squeeze a lemon in it. this will help a lot-I PROMISE. Also, for your sinuses, the congestion....get some peppermint essential oil and fill a sink up with water that is hot enough to be steaming. pour a few drops of the oil in and breathe in the vapors, it works wonders. I PROMISE THAT ALSO. This wont get rid of the cold, but it will ease your misery. also take vitamins, especially vitamin C, get plenty of rest, and drink chamomile tea/infusion. i hope you get well soon. blessed be.

According to my Dr. the best way to cure a cold is let it run it's coarse, usually about 7 days. You can also take over the counter medication to "relieve symptoms". There again 7 days....Drank all the clear fluids you can; like water, gatorade, broth. I find that Afrin nose spray helps releive the "stuffey" feeling, but do not over use.

Sorry theres no cure but there are lots of medicines that can help while it runs its coarse. I like alkaceltlzer plus. In the future you might want to consume foods daily that have vitamin C. Oranges or Orange juice are a good source of vitamin C. It helps keep your immune system up, therefor it might zap a virus before it zaps you.......Goodluck I hope you get to feeling better.

You do not "cure" a cold, you treat one. Get plenty of rest, take extra vitamin C, drink fruit juices, do whatever boosts your immune system. Have some chicken noodle soup - this is one "old wives tale" that actually has merit as their are chemicals in it that fight viruses. Above all else, REST!

No cure for the virus causing your cold. Lots of liquids and rest. Hot tea and Zinc lozenges help.
