I own a 99 1/2 Jetta. I need to have the brakes replaced, and unfortunately with my schedule have left them go long enough that the rotors are rubbing. Can I request that the mechanic just replace the brake pads and not the rotors? Does that just mean that I'll wear through the brake pads faster. Know any fair estimates for small repair shop in Pa? Thanks.

Everybody knows a mother would most likely die for her child, or that a family member might sacrifice himself or herself for another family member. But, what about a stranger?

If a situation arrived and you had to make a choice to either save that person and take your life in his or her place, or do nothing and let that person die – which would you do?
Be honest here… it is actually a difficult thing to decide, and usually the spur of the moment would decide. However, if you are not sure, tell me what you THINK you would probably do then. Why?

The big corporations that you in the right wing so admire and cherish routinely employ illegals to circumvent laws of social security and tax matching. If illegals were deported, these businesses would be forced to seek other means of avoiding high taxes(see:WALMART).

I keep finding these friends that seem to have the need to lie to me about NOTHING. They fabricate stories that make no sense, like having miscarraiges, dating a celebrity, seeing the neighbors do things like walk around in there bra in the yard! Weird things that are obvious lies. This is the third person I've become friends with that does this. Is there a reason that I am attracting friends like this or do people just feel the need to make up stories to me. It's driving me crazy. Of course, I just smile and nod when they come up with these things but why can't I find a normal person to hang out with?

I started the day with a grande starbucks and a liesurly walk on the beach in meditation of my life. Then I enjoyed smooth Jazz on the radio on the way home. I am doing some light shoping and geting supplies for margaritas for the pool later this afternoon. I am looking forward to burning some cd's for my new car. (Hopefully, Zeppelin, some old school rap, R & B and electronica.) In the evening, I am doing a hard core Bible study with a few Holy Warriors. Then it is quality time with the ones I Love...
