It is possible for that to happen because the action of sex can cause air in the intestinal tract to move and if the womens entire body tenses during the orgasm then if the air has moved it could happen. It would be more common if the lower part of the body was elevated above the head.

i've never farted while having an orgasm. however, sometimes... in certain positions certain things push the wrong way.. and yeah.. usually my hubby and i laugh about it.. b/c farting is a huge topic of conversation in my house for some reason.... damn all our friends.. lol.. but the worst is sometimes, when you have anal sex, the thrusting in and out causes air to escape.. not really a fart.. but like a forced fart.. if that makes sense.. and that sucks... especially if it's stinky... happened once.. it was gross as all heck
