Most christians believe in what they say is one God but then describe him as being comprised of the Father /Son and Holy Spirit- three parts making up a whole- Is it three, is it one, or is there just a higher power that as human beings we are just to feable minded to understand. If we do somehow become reborn -reincarnated but not in this form are we really the same or is our spirit just recycled and if so are we still connected to the higher power who created us. All I know is the "One God" concept allows me to focus my faith in a higher power into one concept that I can understand. The higher Power may be much more complex (but my faith in "GOD"be that one many or possibly both or multidimentional allows me to stay connected to the omnipresent that created everything) staying connected to what created us all is what faith is about so when we die we can believe that we somehow trancend this life. No matter how that translates My personal belief is we human beings are really not smart enough to understand it all -in fact most of us have a hard time grasping the fact that there is something out there much larger than us and the world we live in! I believe whoever or whatever created us would want us to stay connected to them even if we can't understand or agree on their form. I think faith of any sort gives us that universal connection to "the higher power in whatever form" and that is what is important. I think athiests have trust issues - and the rest of us of any faith are just beginning to understand one aspect of what created us all.

This isn't my answer or original: If you accept that God is all powerful, then how could He not have the power to exist? Yes, I realize it is a circular argument, but it is at least interesting to ponder.

I believe because of the cosmological argument, the teleological argument in regard to biological systems, the archaeology of the Bible, the New Testament's attested reliability, the hundreds of fulfilled prophecies in the Bible, and things I have seen and heard from friends and people in the mission field.

Because science has never been able to prove how Life was formed out of non-living material and Science has not proven evolution - if evolution is true - why don't we see monkeys today maturing into humans?

Even the doctors are now saying - DNA shows a creator.

Well you don't as you hate us all and God is LOVE.

ALL the goodness you see in others is God in us.
HE placed a yearning in our souls to know Him. When nothing else that you are searching for to be happy works.........God does.
He will fill that ache for Eternity. He came to seek and save those which were on their way to Hell (lost) and take them to Heaven (saved) to be with Him forever.

Ask Him to fill that longing today and show Himself to you. As long as you are running from Him, not even knowing it, you will never find peace.

I could tell you stories of His protection on my life and family, of miracles in our lives, of peace that passes ALL understanding. But until YOU know Him, you would not understand.
There is Faith or Fate in believing, choose ye THIS day whom you will serve.

I do not claim to know the answer. Those who do have faith and I cannot condemn them for that as it is faith.

Who knows? When we all die we could find out that God is a pig and he is going to be REALLY ticked about bacon!!

and again this will be the fourth time i post this ( thank goodness for copy paste )

i believe in god
i am a spiritualist medium who communicates with spirit
these spirit are validated and proven .. through descriptions names dates etc given ..
through these validated spirit i am also able to speak with my spirit guides ..
i have also read and been taught spirit teachings through other spirit guides ...
to have all this validated and proven leaves me no doubt that spirit live on
now ...to the god question
spirit speak of god ... they speak of spirit realms ..the spirit teachings speak of god ...
so if i was to disbelieve there is a god i am disbelieving the spirit teachings and ultimately spirit itself .. which means i am disbelieving myself
so it goes hand in hand for me .. i have proof of spirit who speak of god .. so logically for me anyway .. god exists
this is the best way i can explain it and i accept not many will understand .. but i hope it helps explain why " I " believe in god
