My dog just ate a couple fudge brownies. She seems ok after an hour and a half. Will she be ok?

She should be ok, you should watch out for signs of trouble at the link below. These include:

"vomiting and diarrhea, restlessness and hyperactivity, and he or she might even go to you for help and answers. Symptoms will progressively get worse from restlessness to arrhythmia and other muscle twitching. Frequent urination is common, a direct side affect of the toxin in chocolate."

Always keep a list of emergency numbers handy for times like this. A good place to leave them is on the fridge under a magnet. You always need to be prepared with dogs! Anything can happen.

She should be fine. Chocolate in a one time dose could cause vomiting and discomfort, but probably will not be fatal....( unless an extreme circumstance) Chocolate is a "long term" poison that will build up in their system and cause toxic problems. A one time injestion shouldn't be a problem. If she starts vomiting or acting strange then call your vet. My pug at an entire box of fudge covered cookies and lived to tell about it.

There is a compound ( not caffeine ) in chocolate that will
kill dogs...
Three or Four candy bars will kill a 12 pound dog...
NEVER give ANY chocolate to a dog...
Cocoa is what usually kills dogs because it is concentrated
chocolate...
I doubt that a couple of fudge brownies will kill your dog but
it certainly was not good for her...

She will be fine. Keep an eye on her but I think it would take much more than a couple brownies.
It is the baking chocolate that is the biggest danger to dogs.

Dont worry--My dog manged to scarf down and entire bag of oreos.

probably fine. check out the link below for details but the real problem with chocolate is Theobromine which is in very small amount for most milk chocolate.

I've had medium size dogs eat entire bags of Reese Cups and a LARGE Hersey kiss without problems.

I would imagine she'd be ok after this length of time. However, I would call my Vet, just to see what they have to say. Chocolate should always be kept out of reach of dogs, as it can be fatal.

yes, she will be fine. We had a bassett hound eat an entire christmas stocking full of chocolate one year. It's just not good for them. 2 brownies will be okay.

Be prepared for an upset tummy, diarrhea and a sick dog. Will it kill her? Depends on her size. You should call the vet. They may want you to induce vomiting to minimize the effects. Chocolate is not the dangerous killer, although dogs will get sick in larger quantities. It's cocoa that is the killer. Call the vet. Please. ASAP.

She should be fine. My dog has eaten A LOT of chocolate in her lifetime. (My sister used to always leave candy on the floor in her room.) And my dog is perfectly fine.
