The big corporations that you in the right wing so admire and cherish routinely employ illegals to circumvent laws of social security and tax matching. If illegals were deported, these businesses would be forced to seek other means of avoiding high taxes(see:WALMART).

Who do you think would feel the pinch in a situation like that?

Like it or not, the USA needs undocumented workers.

First of all, you are mistaken if you think illegals are not having FICA and income tax withheld by corporations. All Corporations be it Walmart or the corner Deli, are required to have SSN for all employees. The larger the Corp, the smaller the chance that they are employing illegals off the books (cash payments), because it too difficult to manage within a corporate system of checks and balances. Illegals use bogus, counterfeit, or "borrowed" Social Security numbers. The monies are sent the the government, and illegals never get the advantage of the benefits.
To a limited degree the US is dependent upon illegals. But not to any level that would cause a economic castrophe.

Recently INS came to the company I work for and checked records for all employees. They found 68 illegals and deported them. Now is see more older men and women being hired. So why do we need them when we have a work force here that was overlooked before they were deported. And no the older workers do not make more money than the illegals did.

Sorry but you are wrong again.

We don't NEED undocumented workers. The economy can survived and flourish without them. What we need is STRICT control of the borders and the people who enter this country. Establish a guest worker program where the "guest" is not allowed to bring his/her family over here and require that they check in with the Govt weekly to provide proof of continued employment. This would solve many of the problems and not violate and American Citizens rights.

If this causes a temporary shortage of workers so be it, we have a huge prison population that needs rehabilitation (worked till exausted) and millions of Welfare receipients that can be encouraged to work.

I'm left wing, and I think that people should be able to migrate to the US LEGALLY. What is wrong with getting legalized? If the red tape is so bad, then why can't the US look into an easier way for legalization? It is amazing to know that there are A LOT of working immigrants that are legal, and they don't like illegals either, because they had to work to become legal, and that is the respectable way to them. Wouldn't it be for anyone?

there may be a dependence on some level, but i cut my own grass and have my house cleaned every other week, but i could do that myself. the bigger issues are national security, and obeying the law. get here the right way if you want it so bad. maybe any losses from the all powerful corporations you speak of could be made up in the form of grants from the govt. with the billions of dollars we won't have to spend housing the 20% of or national prison population that are illegal.

at the beginning it form of sounds like everybody basically thinks that deporting people back to their international locations is a few "rapid restoration" to our increasing financial issues. at the beginning of the biggest possibility to our financial device is the shortcoming of our u . s . to compete in a worldwide financial device. people who make greater money pay greater taxes. So the suitable thank you to reinforce our financial device is to get people training so as that they'd get greater useful paying jobs. we decide for our electorate to compete in math and technology based carrers so as that American jobs do no longer finally end up going to different international locations. the better the undemanding American income the greater beneficial our financial device would be. back to the foremost question...NO! deporting isn't the respond. sure unlawful immigration is a difficulty in this u . s ., yet deporting and isolating households isn't the respond. by utilising offering a direction to citizenship for individuals already in this u . s . we are in a position to get a competent bite of tax money. to no longer point out the people themselves can get lots greater useful wages then they get working illegally. basically kicking people out who're already it incredibly isn't basically incorrect yet no longer the suitable situation for this u . s .. actually if Canada's minimum salary became $50 an hour i does no longer be stunned if people from united statesa. would initiate leaving. the warm button is that individuals are here to make a greater useful existence for their households, yet immigrants get dealt with as though they have been murderous criminals. the suitable situation is to look after our borders and allow people who're here have a clean thank you to citizenship.

Yeah Walmart would have to start paying people more than 7 bucks an hour. I wouldn´t lose sleep over it. I don´t see how that proves we need undocumented workers.

Lordy, we have guest worker programs and the legal channels to have legal migrant workers in the USA. We wouldn't feel the pinch.
