I have been wondering the same thing. Doctors want to continually do MRI's of my brain.

MRI has not been around all that long. As far as anyone knows there is no long term side effects with MRI. But like I said it hasn't been around that long.

Yes, but it probably won't happen (shock that is)
If your hands are clasped together during an MRI you can feel a tingling sensation. If that happens just unclasp your hands.

An MRI uses a magnet, there is no radiation involved and there is no risk of shock. I know of no reason MRIs would be harmful.
