my emails include my whole name. how do i stop this?

While logged into your Yahoo! Mail account (assuming that's where you would like this changed) click on Options in the upper right corner of the screen. Then choose General Preferences (you have to scroll down a bit, it's in the middle of the page) and then change what it says in the "From name" field.

you mean that when you send out emails, it contains your full name in the 'from' part.

Jsut change the Display Name in your mail's settings.

Go to your Yahoo Account...Click on Options. It's somewhere on the upper right corner of the screen

go to the "options" tag usually on right of your mailbox(if you are using yahoo)"

then go to "general preferences" and click on it.....

under the first option there that says...."name and email"...simply delete your name and enter your email id over there or whatever u want too....and it will show only the stuff u write there in all your outgoing e-mails!!

You will have a display name set somewhere. Find out this field and change it. Simple :)
