What Mel said and did was inexcusable, but the fact is that he harmed no-one but himself, and the usual hyperventilating suspects.

Yet, a man kills several people in Seattle, and the media shrugs its shoulders. That's despicable.

my period is usually like clock work, every 26 days...that's how i have always been...until this time...i have had unprotected sex...i'm about 7 days late now....starting to worry....i have the whole cramping like i'm going to start any time now...but it's been days like that...breasts are sore..like they usually get before my periods.....have taken HPT but have been negative both times...can't see my gyno until next tuesday....they told me to wait it out.....HA i've never stopped thinking about it....do you think i'm pregnant...this is driving me crazy....please help!

I believe that religion is a cult. Religion as a whole. My friends have said that they are not religious, but spiritual. I can grasp that, but religion (catholic, mormon, etc.) is a cult. Does anyone agree with me, or are you all brain washed by the cult?

Can we all comment on how this argument is ineffectual?

Example: It's kinda like saying, "Well my Dad says..." It's just not gonna get through to someone who thinks your Dad is, well, wrong.

I think this is a very good example argument to work with to help Christians, who I see make similar arguments all the time, better construct their statements supporting a believe in God. More suggestions?

I babysit a 5 yr old... She is always spilling her drink. I give her a cup with a lid... she figures out how to spill it, I gave her a sippy cup thinking she couldnt manage it... Yep, spilled it. On an average she spills about 4 out of 5 drinks I give her. I have started giving her water and not allowing her out of my kitchen... But still spilling... Please help, I will take any suggestions no matter how stupid someone thinks it is.....
