my period is usually like clock work, every 26 days...that's how i have always been...until this time...i have had unprotected sex...i'm about 7 days late now....starting to worry....i have the whole cramping like i'm going to start any time now...but it's been days like that...breasts are sore..like they usually get before my periods.....have taken HPT but have been negative both times...can't see my gyno until next tuesday....they told me to wait it out.....HA i've never stopped thinking about it....do you think i'm pregnant...this is driving me crazy....please help!

If the pregnancy test is negative then you are probably not pregnant!! Stress can cause you to have a late period, just worrying about having unprotected sex can do that. You can also try First Response that detects if you're pregnant 5 days early!! If that is still negative don't worry.. good luck..

You could be there is no telling. Just remember that whenever you have unsafe sex you risk the chance of getting pregnant or getting an STD or AIDS. So if you do not want the worry either use all forms of birth control or stop having sex...plain and simple.
You will have to wait to see your doctor next week to get an answer to what the problem could. As far as the other person saying your doctor's office is unprofessional, I use to work in a doctor's office the only way she can get in early is if there an extreme urgency such as a pregnant woman with complications...to take a bloodtest is not consider high risk so they schedule accordingly.

if you are more than a week late then the hpt should be accurate.........but you never know. Some women react to testing different. My home pregnancy tests were undeniable, but the Dr's blood test showed a "faint' positive.....Yur Dr's office sounds very unprofessional. It only takes a little time to do the tests......call them again and demand an earlier appt or find another Dr. You have the right to know,

If your due date for your period has passed and a pregnancy test is negative it's highly unlikely that you're pregnant. Like someone else said, just the worry can make your period be delayed and worry can make every little thing seem like a pregnancy symptom.

take a pregnany test again and if its negative then chill. sore breasts and cramping can only be because of late periods or u can simply go to another doctor just to confirm and then go to ur gyn when she can see u. but if the pregnancy test is negative then u have nothing to worry abt

I would wait until the doctors visit if the home test are coming up neg. and have a blood test done.

It could be stress, I know you may not want to hear this but wait it out. Also have the doctor's do blood work.

stress could cause you not to start on time! seems like to me your under alot of stress thinking about this..........wait til your to the dr and see what the doctor says.........the doctor will know when he/she examines you..............
