Two fraternity brothers...

Two fraternity brothers decide to go sailing one afternoon and become lost. After twenty hours with nothing to eat or drink, one of them spots a lamp floating by. He picks it up and a genie pops out. The genie notices the poor condition of the brothers and grants them one wish between the two of them.
After a lot of arguing over who gets the wish, one of them blurts out, "I wish the ocean was made of beer."

Magically, the ocean turns to beer.

Infuriated, the other guy yells, "You idiot! Now we have to piss in the boat!"

do we really need a pledge of alligence?

Does getting cold give you a cold?

As a kid I was always told to keep warm or I'd catch a cold. However, I catch colds in the summer just as often as the winter. Does being cold have anything to do with becoming susceptible to a whole range of viruses we call "the cold"? Or is it just another dearly held myth?

Who is this common ancestor and where did he/she/it come from?

I see evolutionists say that humans and apes share a common ancestor, yet I’ve never seen anyone identify who this common ancestor is. According to the theory of evolution, how do we get from nothing to man?
