Children learn from parents. Many parents are members of communities of faithful believers self organized around a religion that propagates a belief in a good one in heaven at war with an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth. From these communities of faithful believers and a culture that as whole caters to their sensitivities, children learn to think, believe and expect that a good one in heaven commands good boys and girls to work all the hours of the day; be fruitful and multiply; reject sex for occupational, recreational and or homosexual purposes; object to sexual education that could make these practices safer; and above all fight these and other 'evils'. The net result being our global culture is dominated by communities of faithful believers that for thousands of years now have motivated members to out work, out number, and out fight competition in a race to a prophesized final conflict between good and evil some call Armageddon.
