I think a lot of people enter into marriage with a false sense of what it takes. In the beginning it is all fun and lovely, however, most people do not realise that marriage is more than just fun and games - it is a serious committment that we make to one another - to be faithful and true. Some of us forget that in the course of the marriage and begin to take each other for granted, not remembering that a good marriage needs to be worked at and not just place in the cupboard. We forget that as the marriage progresses, we need to invest more into it than we did before and that if we truly were in love in the beginnng, it will give us what we need to do just this.
Sometimes, spouses just forget that we still want love and magic in our lives and that we cannot and must not ever stray and if it happens the consequences will have to be met - good or bad.
People have just got too busy and too modern.
For me, I am an old fashion person, who still believes in the magic of real love, with respect for one another and most of dignity for each other and never, never to take each other for granted. I know this to be true because there are people out there who still believe in making a committment to each other for all times.
