I'm kind of bored.

I'm 12 years old and my mom is mad at me that I always play video games when I'm bored and I'm bored most of the day. So can any of you think of something fun and interesting a 12 year old can any time they want when home?

Do you like to build things? My brother used to build tons of lego creations. He also had kits of 3-D puzzles. He built a Star Wars ship once. Think of something you'd like to learn how to do--maybe play an instrument---or think of something you could plan---like a family vacation and work on that for awhile. Try to go outside if you can. I loved playing sports and riding my bike around during the summer.
Also, could you possibly do work around the house for your mom if she paid you? See if you can work out a deal:)

Creating websites; collecting old books and reading them-good bang for the buck if you start by buying unique, older books (say more then 100 years old) and start a library; you could always sell some of your collection at a profit( or part of it) if you needed some $$$$$ in the future! Same with comic books! Vinyl lp's, coins...the list is endless!!!
