Is it true that a veteran only gets health benefits if s/he has a combat-related injury or has been declared disabled? For instance, if a veteran gets some disease when he's 55 (30+ years since discharge and injury is not related to wartime service) can he get any benefits whatsoever? Also, if you know where it says this on the VA site or somewhere else, please tell. Thanks.

My gurl is afraid that she is pregnant. But, she was on the deprovera birth control shot for 7 years. She's only been off the shot for about 1 year and a few months. How often after you've stopped taking the deprovera shot can one become pregnant? I've heard everything from a few months to a few years.

Our neighbour at No. 48 bought a big, expensive telescope and tripod two years ago. We can see it at his front room window. He sat up all night for the first week looking at the stars but now he only uses it when someone asks him to check if the queue's gone down at the Post Office. Why do we fall for these things?

He had the op a week ago on monday, he has not been able to get out of bed due to epidural and various drips catheters etc, he has developed bed sores quite bad ones, and he now has to go have another mri because the wound is weeping-what are they looking for? Is this much problems normal?

AC went out on us last night-
The outdoor unit seems to be working properly as the fan kicks on and off as the thermostat dictates.
Inside, the insulated frion line entering the furnace has a bit of ice buildup on a release valve.
The furnace seems to WANT to kick on when the thermostat indicates, however all I get is a buzz from down at the blower motor. No air is pushed through the ducts when the buzz is heard. It kicks off after 20-30 secs or so.
The circuit board has the LED light flashing properly.
I'm stuck in 90+ degree weather with a week old newborn with no one to get out to us till tomorrow :)
Does a blower motor have a fuse of its own or does the furnace have one as a whole.

My self-esteem is currently running at an all time low. I am about to attend an interview for a new job, so I'm naturally nervous about showing myself up.

The beatles have to be at a concert across the river in 17 minutes. The problem is that the bridge across the river is very weak and is only strong enough to hold only two people at a time (only two people can cross at a time). They have only one flashlight and anybody crossing the river must have the flashlight at all times.John can cross the bidge in 1 minute, Paul needs 2 minutes, Gearge needs 5 minutes and Ringo needs 10. can they make it to the concert in time? if so how?
