My gurl is afraid that she is pregnant. But, she was on the deprovera birth control shot for 7 years. She's only been off the shot for about 1 year and a few months. How often after you've stopped taking the deprovera shot can one become pregnant? I've heard everything from a few months to a few years.

There's your answer- she'll become fertile again as soon as her last shot wears off, which is probably around three or four months.
