God does not wants anything. He is almighty and he has all the powers to do every thing.
The direction from which Sun rises is called East.
If God does and Sun rises from some other direction, that may be known as West, South oe NorthEast today, that will be called East.

Well yes he has already done it once. (there was a time he made the earth revolve backwards causing the shadows to move "up the steps") this backwards revolution would have caused the sun to appear to rise from the west somewhere. (of course we all know the sun doesn't really "rise" the rotation of the earth causes the sun to appear to rise so I am answering based on that fact)

The answer is Yes. If He chose to reverse the Universe, He could do it. And he could do it in such a balance that nothing would be harmed.
