Is it boredom?

Our neighbour at No. 48 bought a big, expensive telescope and tripod two years ago. We can see it at his front room window. He sat up all night for the first week looking at the stars but now he only uses it when someone asks him to check if the queue's gone down at the Post Office. Why do we fall for these things?

Some people are more curious than others. Why do you care what your neighbor wishes to spend his money on? He bought the telescope because he wanted to investigate the sky. He did that. He probably paid a lot less for his telescope and received more enjoyment than someone who bought a 10 meter yacht and uses it 3 times a year, maybe.

When one looks to the night sky, there is an interest to see a comet streaking across the heavens, a meteorite burning up on reentry, the space station. Something dramatically exciting.

Hey stop being nosy its his life you know, he can do or buy anything that he wants to please himself, people buy things you know and then get fed up of them , then theres new things out at the store so people can buy , dont tell me thats never happened to you before.
