Hello-

I'm looking for a new computer game that is similar to the Monkey Island Series or Zoombinis (old games, I know).

I would like something that is not a "shoot them up" game (I can do that on my bf's PS2) and is more stratagy/logic, but entertaining, funny, and interesting.

Sim City type games won't work, because they are too boring for me. I don't like sitting there watching my city (or neighborhod grow), because it's too slow. Also, I would like to interact with the game all the time, except for the occasional 30 second movie (like in Curse of Monkey Island).

So... any ideas?

Thanks!!!

I am newly divorced.... i mean the ink isn't even dry!! My divorce was final on June 2. I know that is what I wanted, but I feel like such a failure. I am not having any regrets, but at the same time I asking myself if I made the right decision. I was married for 7.5 years and we were together for 14 years. Is this a normal reaction. Help cause I think I am going crazy. Guess what everybody? I'm not married anymore!! : - |

Once my GF told me to come over to watch the game at 3pm sharp. I arrive 5 minutes early, and she wasn't there. I left several messages on her cell, waited about 20 minutes and finally left. Later, I got a call with her telling me she was out shopping. This caused a big fight. She said I was making a big deal out of nothing. I think it was extremely rude. Who's right?

We are not fighting for special attention. We are fighting for equal rights. We want to have protection if we break up with a life partner. We want hospital visitation rights. We want rights to receive a loved ones will. With all of the sex in the media, how you can look at two men holding hands and make a huge deal of it. There are no 'gay ideas' in government. There are plenty of christian ideas though. Why do you think that someone saying "we would like to get a loan on a house in both our names" forcing it down your throat? Your christian, you love everyone equally no matter how they choose to live. Gay people have all kinds of straight sex and christian rules forced onto them, why make a big deal of someone fighting to be treated equally.

and to say that we are is lie. Been called f*ggot too many times.

Ok so here is the situation...... There are five of us friends who always hangout together and spend everyweekend (day and night). There is me, Tammy, Jilli, Matt, and Brian. Tammy has loved Brian for as long as she has known him, but nothing has happened. Jili use to like Brian, until Tammy liked him, and now she likes Matt. Matt has always had a places in his heart for Tammy, but he wants to go out with Jili.
Tammy and Brian started fooling around, he giving him favors. Matt and Jili started going out. But then Brian realized that he did not want to be with Tammy so he broke it off. Then Matt decided that he would finally try to go for Tammy while he was still dating Jili. So Matt and Tammy starting having sex....Should I tell Jili what is going on? Matt asked me out too while he is sleeping with one friend and dating the other...should I tell them about him? Brian has asked me out and I like him, but should i date him when i know Tammy is still crushing hard on him?

I have this Christian friend. He's a great guy and I love spending time with him, but he forces me to pray with him (like before we eat). I don't believe as he does. I respect his beliefs and I want him to respect mine. So what should I do? Is there any way to ask him to respect me without being rude or coming across as being mean?

The jews have so far killed 50 people (according to the BBC) in Lebanon, as well as dozens more in Gaza. They are also bombing Lebanon's infrastructure and the situation threatens to cause a wider conflict. Do you think the three captured soldiers would want any of this?

Earlier this month i did some maintnace on my durangos transmission because it was going shifting into gears and people kept telling me that my transmission was blown. I didnt want to hear that cuz i know how expensive that is to fix. So I took it to a shop to flush the transmission fluid and change the filter and all that. Now it seems to run fine until it gets to 50mph. Then it doesnt shift and it revs without changing gear. Could it be that i just need to run it more, or is my transmission gone, and should i not drive it like this? I cant afford to pay what it costs to fix. Help!

My husband and I have been married for 23 years. We have 2 sons together, 17 & 19, and I have a 28-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. Over the years we have been politically involved in county and statewide campaigns. Back in 1997 we developed a friendship with a woman that was also involved in the political campaigns with us. I thought that she was a mutual friend with both of us, but over the years, I noticed that she was a little closer to my husband than she was to me, but I didn't give it much thought and I trusted my husband and considered us all to be friends.
As time passed I noticed little things that gave me pause, such as, if there was a function going on she would always be around the men more so than the women. She dressed provocatively and there would be incidents that it would appear that capable people around her would suspect her of sabotaging their projects and she would come in and fix everything and hence make herself look good. My husband also ran for a political office and asked her to be his campaign manager. He lost.
She became close to my husband over the years and he did her a lot of favors. She became his administrative assistant and he found her 2 other part time jobs, because she was a single mother and “needed help”. (Her children were older when this was going on) I tried to respect what he was doing because it is his nature to help people, but something about this relationship made me uncomfortable.
When I would stop into my husband's office, which was across the street from mine, I would feel like I was intruding. She didn't talk to me and made me feel like an outsider in my husband's office. (He was the boss.)
My husband no longer works with her, she has moved onto another company that has no connection with my husband's job now. Which brings me to my dilemma.
About one year ago a problem arose with our cell phone bills and I had to go over the statements. The bills go to a business owned by his family, but the phones are his, our 2 sons’ and mine. As I was going over the bills I saw that he was still in contact with this woman on a daily basis. They were calling each other back and forth and the calls would be 15, 20 or 30-minute phone calls, sometimes a few times a day.
I expressed to him that I was not happy with this and asked him to please stop. We had a few arguments about it and he could not understand why I was so upset, because they were just friends. He said he would stop.
Two weeks ago another problem arose with the bills and again I had to go over the statements. The phone calls have not stopped; they are still speaking on a daily basis. I told him that I have had enough and wanted to know what was more important” their friendship or our marriage". He said that our marriage was and that he would stop, but still doesn't understand because it is just a friendship. I have been checking the bill on-line daily now and she is still calling everyday! How do I trust him and what am I supposed to think about this"friendship"?

but the 2nd parent (who has lots of money for the best lawyers) is telling the child in their care tons of lies to the point that the child refuses to speak to or spend time with the "good" parent. What can the good parent do? I've read some answers on here that were 100% wrong. You cannot get a state appointed lawyer unless it is a "criminal case" against you. Legal Aid does not do custody cases. Pro Bono? Forget it! The child with the good parent is forced by law to spend 4 days a month with the bad parent & grandparents who, since the custody hearing, have treated her like dirt. Suttle insults, ignored, they NEVER call her, STOPPED ALLOWANCE, STOPPED SHOPPING TRIPS, everything they used to do for/with her. So, what can the good parent do with no lawyer? The child said if she's forced to go this weekend she's running away. They need help now! PLEASE ONLY GOOD, SERIOUS ADVICE.
