I would bring back enough to make a supergroup: Jimi Hendrix and Brian Jones on guitar, Freddie Mercury on vocals, Cliff Burton on bass, Keith Moon on drums and Nicky Hopkins on piano. Now that would be a great rock n' roll band.
Unless, of course, I could mix the undead musicians with living musicians so I could make my all-time supergroup: Jimi Hendrix and Keith Richards on guitar, Roger Daltrey on vocals, Nicky Hopkins on piano, Chris Squire on bass, Bill Bruford on drums, Bob Dylan writing lyrics, and Paul McCartney and John Lennon writing the music.
One can dream...

I'd have to say all of the great ones, but I'd bring back Kurt Cobain just to see Courtney go over the edge forever. All the great ones would just put themselves back into the grave, especially with today's drugs.
