I'm in India right now and I'm planning to go to the Himalaya. I could either go to Leh, Ladakh, India or Kathmandu, Nepal.

I just have 4 days to spend and therefore would like to get the maximum out of it.

As of now I am more interested in Kathmandu (mainly cultural reasons) but I fear that the monsoon would hinder my travel or sightseeing experience there so I'm actually thinking of going to Ladakh/Leh to have a sure bet on the weather.

Can someone tell me to what extent sightseeing/trecking will be limited right now in Nepal due to the weather? (How much rain is there? When does it rain (at night/during day) Is it all foggy/cloudy? etc.)

Issues such as price of flights/duration of travel to get there don't matter.

My ex gf and I have been together for 15 yrs. Couple years ago I realized that she wasnt what i wanted and I moved on. Apparently she didnt realized it, because two years ago i met this girl and we started dating kinda in secret. I told my ex a year ago about this new girl and told her im in love with her. She went nuts, she told me she didnt know I had moved on. My actual GF accepted to wait for me to end that nicely, but after 2 years she says this is getting too long. My ex gf and I bought a condo and still live together as friends, she has been my best friend since high school. Now my actual gf has given me an ultimatum, if i dont move out, she will leave me. I told her we are gonna sell the place and split the money soon, so we (my new gf and i) can buy a place for us. She complains that I've been promising to move out since we met and i havent done it yet. She says she cant deal with this anymore.
I dont want to pay rent and mortgage, so i will stay. Am i so wrong?

a sign that the canvas is starting to rot?? I just found out to replace the canvas it would cost about $2000.00:(
it has two double beds, and 2 tables that fold down to make a bed

I always experienced that heavier skiers are faster than me. Why is that? All the physical rules I know lead to the solution that they aren't faster, but that can't be :-(

Ok... I have been with my fiance for four years now and everything started off alright.. a couple years into the relationship things just didnt seem right... everything would go wrong. I broke up with him because he wasnt serious about anything. So he left for about two weeks didnt know where he was or how to get ahold of him. I finally seem him after that we talked n got back together then he did it again so I told him that it wasnt working that he really needed to straighten out his act because I love him too much to give up on him now hes in the Navy and gone until the middle of August it just seems like there are a lot of road bumps throughout our whole relationship.
