a sign that the canvas is starting to rot?? I just found out to replace the canvas it would cost about $2000.00:(
it has two double beds, and 2 tables that fold down to make a bed
has an ice box and stove all in working condition, my question is how much should I offer them for this camper?please any help would be appreciated, I am from Canada.

36 years is alot on canvas even if it wasn't exposed to the elements. Another thing to consider is the running gear. Have the bearings been serviced? are the tires showing some age? is the taillamps and wiring in proper working order? if it has LP tanks are the hoses and regulators in good shape? another thing to consider if it does have LP tanks is the new OFPD valve law. An older tank cannot be refilled anymore.

Not much, seriously. It is 36 years old and even if the canvas isn't rotting, it is weak from age. You will eventually have to pay to replace it.
