Oh BOOHOO.
Why are more Christians needed? (By the way, LEARN TO SPELL!) Just because kids are questioning things doesn't mean that it's BAD. Hades, I'm 16 right now, and I'm PAGAN. You know why? Because things in Christianity make NO GODS DAMNED SENSE!
Take, for example, the fact that you guys say God is all powerful, benevolent (good), and created everything. You guys also believe in Satan. So that means God made Satan. And he hasn't killed Satan. Do tell, how does that make God good or all powerful?
Not to mention the fact that most all of the Christian faith was taken from both the Pagans and the Jews, and the Christians now are discrediting the Old Testament -- taken from the Torah -- and just following the New Testament.
Also, it's been proven that the Bible has been written by people over the centuries that never even KNEW Jesus.
You should chill out some. More Christians doesn't mean more knowledge. You should check out the quote in my sources.

Where are you getting your statistics?
Are you talking about Christians in the world, or Christians in a specific country? Because, worldwide, Christians account for about 1/3 of the population. It wouldn't surprise me if, out of that 30-some-percent, that a small percentage were below the age of 21. Religiosity tends to increase as people get older.
Now, talking about the US, about 75% of people profess to be Christians. I would expect that the percentage of Christians under the age of 21 would be much higher.
As for why Christianity is losing adherents, not being a Christian myself, I don't really see the problem. However, if I were a Christian, I'd be taking a good hard look at the faith to see the reasons why, and fix it.

The true Christian that has trusted in the finish work of the cross has not pass the gospel on to the young. When the Lord Jesus Christ comes to take the believers off the earth there will be so few go that nobody will miss them. The god of this world has blinded the minds of the young people. 2 Corinthians 4: 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 2 Corinthians 4: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Human "intellectuals" have been trying to explain away their Maker with the recent advancements in science and technology throughout the past generation. These people wish not to acknowledge a God because they're afraid of the consequences they will face for their actions when they find out that God is real and His Judgement will be upon all people! Basically, only 4% of the current generation is gutsy enough to take responsibility for their actions!

Becasue the Scripture says that in the last days that "evil men and seducers would wax worse and worse," which means that there would be a sweeping of the hand of satan over the world like has never been seen before "seeking whom he may devour." The temptations are greater, the sin is darker, the heart of mankind as a whole is hardening to the truth, and God is gradually removing His influence from the state of world affairs because of it.

1 Tim. 4:1-2
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
2 Tim. 3:1-7
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Matthew 24:10-12,21-24, 32-35
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. [11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. [12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. [21]For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. [23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. [24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: [33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. [34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. [35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Bible predicts this well, doesn't it? See the criticism you get for your belief.
One fair note, many Christians aren't living holy lives, thus making any evangelism ineffective because their lifestyle is no different from the worlds. Many churches blend the world with holiness, becoming lukewarm and powerless, making Calvary look useless.
The church needs to carry the glory of God outside the church, instead of trying to bring others to church. We need to seek Acts 5 anointing, where Peter carried the glory so much that his shadow was healing people.
Why don't we seek that type of fellowship with God?

We as believers should take responsibility for some of that. We are not going out into the world and making disciples as we are commanded to do by the Word of God. In addition, I believe that some, and I want to stress, some parents not are bringing this generation of children up in admonition and fear of the LORD. Instead the parents want to be the children's best friend and it is turning into a detriment.

well lets see if there is 25 ppl. who are christians, and 75 who are other religions.
and the christians have 2 children each, and the others have 5 children each.
now we have 100 ppl. who are christian and 375 ppl. who are of other religions.
Christian = 21%*
Other religions = 79%*
ans so forth, untill eventually more ppl. may be christian than there was hundreds of years ago but the proportion of ppl. in other religions have grown trmendously due to their lifestyles and beliefs.
*also these numbers should give or take a few, as some christian childrens don't follow it as there parents did, as they have more freedom to choose, where as in many other religions (not all) they don't have a choice they must follow their religion.

i know what you can do. you can abolish the freedom of religion part of the first amendment and force everyone to be a christian. then if that doesn't work, you can start killing people who don't become christians. also you can stop teaching everything in school that has nothing to do with christianity. why not just implant brain washing devices at birth. every time they think of any thing other then the thoughts you want them to have, you just send an electrical charge to their brain.
people no longer need your zombie and invisible ghost stories to know right from wrong. believe what you want and allow others to do the same.
