Hi, I know some people have asked this question before, but I just need some clarity, what exactly does it mean when someone "loves you", as apposed to someone not being "in love with you"? whats the difference which is more important, which hurts less?

Ripped DVD file compression?

I have tons of DVDs, almost too many to keep track of, but I want to rip them to a hard drive and create a movie server for my house so I don't have to hunt for a dvd everytime I want to watch a certain movie. Is there any way to compress the dvd files into smaller files using compression software or simply ripping them to another format? I have heard of being able to burn 3 full length DVDs to a single DVD using compression, but I don't know how to do it. Could something like that be used?

Are there any good metal bands that actually come from the US?

okay, what is it about this country that we have decided to just forget about metal? what happened to bands like metallica, megadeth, or anthrax? all i hear is death metal or black metal, which has some moron screaming his balls off, with barely any type of guitar soloing, and just way to aggresive. i have been forced to find euro metal bands, and discovered progressive and neo-classical metal bands like blind guardian, stratovarius, and rhapsody. this stuff is good, and i know its not for everyone, i guess i wanna know if there is any good metal bands which arent death or black. dont mention system of a down, theyre descent in my book. thanks.

How do I tell my wife: "It's over"?

Hello! Please some help! How can I tell my wife that I can´t go on with her anymore? She doesn´t want to hear about getting divorce nor to attend a marriage counselor. I am not happy with her and after 21 years of marriage I am feed up of everything. I have been trying to make her happy and I am trying very hard to see myself happy. For the couple of weeks I have been having trouble sleeping and when I open my eyes, I just think of the way to get rid of my wife. I fell that I am stuck with her for ever! What should I do? Thanks!

Justiying Stupidity?

Do most people blame other people to "justify" their stupidity?

Ex: A man walks in on his girlfriend or spouse cheating. He leaves and heads to a bar. He gets smashed, then gets in his car and drives... crashing into a pole. He becomes paralyzed. His wife is at the brunt of his blame because of cheating.

Is that justifiable?

Has anyone here adopted a child?

Is 30 years old too old to apply for adoption? I am not currently married to my b/f but we plan to in the future, I am told that only one of us can adopt the child, is that true? I have read loads of info on web sites but some personal experiences would be great!
