it all depends on your lifestyle, how much time you plan to devote to it, how much money you have to put into its upkeep, and most importantly what you expect out of the pet. A pet to have a pet a fish. A pet to entertain and get you active a dog. A pet for comfort and cuddling a cat. One to teach responsibility a hamster.

depends on you living situation and your time .. if you want a self sufficiant pet that takes no time - a fish or lizard .. if you want interaction and fur to hug but sometimes go away for the weekend - think of a cat .. if you want a jogging partner or a pet to play with at the park - then a dog is up your alley .. etc ........

Well.. all the animals in this world are the best they all have life afterall. U cant be that partial.. so i guess that u should remove a zoo where u can make all animals ur best pets.

I have had fish, cats, and a dog. Fish were easy, but had to clean the tank quite frequently. The cats I had, chewed up things and pissed on the couch. Needless to say, I got rid of them. I have a beagle, and he chews up my son's toys, but all in all, he has won over my heart. So I will say my Lemon Beagle.

Dogs! Definitely dogs. I have 2! A Shih Tzu and a Cocker Spaniel, both girls and I love them to bits! :)
