My boyfriend of 10 mths was going to propose after 6 mths but then deciced to wait as his past relationship ended badly once he proposed to his ex. Now I am still waiting for it to happen. He does talk about what kind of wedding he wants but it never goes any farther than that! I just want him to either do it or stop talking about it.

Last Monday, I came back from my office and I found my son (grade I student) is crying. Asking him the reason he just burst out and told me that he will not go to school anymore. I came to know the reason. Just immediate after he entered school, every moments he was asked by his friends, why he is not wearing a brand shirt like NIKE etc? He did never tell me that but yesterday might be he could not just control himself while his friends told him somehting very serious about his dress and about the status of his parents. I found him so considerable at this age than other kids I have seen. I heard this kind of things from other parents who faced same problem but could not find any solution unless they are earning a lot and buying dresses like that. What will be my answer to my son while he asked me "Dad, do you want me to go to school anymore?"

They seem to think they have permission to touch everything, do anything, that interests them despite having been told numerous times:
Don't
walk in flower bed
color on tv screen
ride toy fire truck in street
poke stick in sisters eye
come out of bathroom without washing hands
sit on wall
pull on cord, etc. etc.

Looking for a way to get each of them (five, ages 2 -- 8 to think first, then DON'T DO IT.

We haven't been able to anticipate everything they seem to come up with.

They are precious and loveable, and we enjoy them dearly MOST OF THE TIME. But they're curiousity? is getting more dangerous as they get older and bolder.

Help, they are with us for 5 more days.

Joe and Mike are enjoying a great round of golf one day, when all of a sudden - lightning begins to strike all around them. Following the cardinal rule in this situation, Joe begins to briskly walk towards the clubhouse, as does everyone else on the course. Joe looks back at Mike who, instead, pulls out his 1-iron and begins to wave it high up in the air, intent on waiting the lightning storm out. Puzzled by this, Joe asks Mike why he was doing such a ludicrous act, to which Joe replies "Simple - even God can't hit a 1-iron"

my friend girl is very close, well she allegedly is close to her brother, well about 2 months ago she is all upset cause she finds out step dad was pretty much abusive to him when he was younger. she got mad talked about counseling but only went once now fast forward to this week. we had plans to go to a park for 2 days this week but this same step dad offers her a free trip to panama city beach florida his girl friend came along brought the booze with them. never mind there is also two pre teen kids going too. well guess who didn't go her brother, now not sure if he didn't invite him but she never mentioned him to me at all. so is it just me or does it look like she is really selfish and for a free trip to Florida and free booze she tossed aside her principles and her concern for her brother?what you think I know she has been drinking a lot too she called me and bragged about it isn't that poor example to set around much younger sister? what you think

A few days ago, my father died and now, I'm either angry or sad or I want to believe that I'm fine. I'm trying to help with the funeral and my sister seems to be dismissive. When I left the house, I thought that I was fine but I end up looking at men that looks to be around my father's age and if they're doing something like smoking (one guy was drinking beer out of a paper bag in the doorway of a church), I think that that man or those men should be the one that is gone instead of my father. Is this normal?
