My husband and I are going at the end of September for our 5th anniversary to San Francisco and Monterey. I prettymuch have an idea what to do in Monterey, but besides Golden Gate bridge, alcatraz, wharf, and cable cars, what else can we do in SF to make the 2 day stay worth while?

If so, do you feel you need to take shower after riding Bart? Everytime I take Bart I smell B.O. They are starting to rip out the carpet and replace with vinly flooring. They should consider replacing the fabric seats with plastic seats. You figure with the high costs in fares you'd think they would be able to afford these changes.

I'm visiting california, and am DEFINETELY visiting san francisco centre, but my family also wants to go to the petaluma outle center. I looked it up, and although there is no abercrombie or hollister (which saddens me), I saw that there is a coach outlet, and also a Saks 5th avenue outlet. Has anyone been to this outlet, and would you say that the coach outlet or saks outlet have good things?

If it helps, I especially like coach's shoes and juicy couture things from saks, and i plan on looking for those things.

We've heard about the many amazing restaurants in the area, and wanted some input from those that have been to the region. We will likely spend 3 days in the Napa valley. Any suggestions/ideas are more than welcome! Thanks.

My fiance and I have been contemplating moving to the west coast....and so far San Fran seems like the ideal city for us. We are vegan and would love to live in a city where people are kind...and accepting. How far exactly is San Fran from the ocean? Just want some more infor from people who live or have visited there. Thanks!

What is it like during March in Napa Valley? Does it rain a lot? What is the average temperature? Would you suggest this time of month? What are the pros and cons?

Does anyone have a suggestion of a good place to stay half way between LA and SF on Hwy 101? I want to break up the driving and do half one day and half the other but I'm not sure where a good place is to stop. I'd really appreciate any suggestions. I'll be traveling alone so I'd like someplace that's very safe and single traveler friendly.

I want to drive from LA and just realised that there are two ways, Interstate 5 and 101. I would like to drive along the beach, so it would be 101 I think. How long would it take if I take 101? And which one do you think is best to take?

I sort of know what kind of things to prepare for but it would be great to receive some more brilliant ideas. How should I prepare and where do I start?
