Good luck with that, you are pretty much putting yourself into a SRO (single-room-occupancy) Hotel with that price and location, and not a good one at that. Be prepared for stinky people, crackheads, hookers, etc..
You will be better off looking in a different n'hood and taking MUNI down to 7th st.
$700 doesn't get you a whole lot, but there are definitely places out there for that amount of cash. As previously stated hit up www.craigslist.org, and cross your fingers. Bear in mind you will have about $40-$75 a month utilities bill as well.

Craigslist is good if you screen your roommates. My cousin lived in a house with internet privileges with a husband and wife and only paid about $500, and it wasn't the Tenderloin. But he had his own room.
