Red Bull Grand Prix. Laguna Seca is a great road course. We always stayed in the motor home when we were there and usually went for the Indy cars or big bike races. Lodging around the course is usually booked up. I think that you are going to have to do the computer time because things are changing so quickly with reservations. Better get on it. Its not going to get any better the longer you wait. Good luck.

Possibly in Salinas, but I doubt it. As far as cheap hotels in Monterey, lets think...weekend (bad), summertime (bad), race weekend (double bad).... Nope, don't think you're going to find anything too cheap, sorry. You can try and look into something in Carmel Valley as its right over the Laureles Grade Road. Or you could look for something in Prunedale, Greenfield or King City, but those would add some extra time onto your driving after the race...
