Hopefully in the next year I will be fulfilling a dream of a life time and visiting Montana. I mostly want to do an extended horseback trip in the mountains as well as a cattle drive. Does anyone know where I can book such a trip?

I'm going to be going with my husband out of town for work. He he will be gone from 8am to 5pm, but I will have to be out of the hotel at 11am. What are some things I can do with my daughter in a city I have never been to before for 6 hours? It will be cold, and I'm sure she will not want to walk around for 6 hours, also I don't want to just "take a drive"...you have seen gas prices I'm sure! lol! Any other ideas?? Thanks so much in advance!!!

Are there any great eaterys right off the interstates, like 5 miles off. we will be driving on the I-88 W, I-80 W, I-76 W, and I-70 W. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I am an Irish graduate that is trying to organise an internship in English or psych in the US for the summer. I have come across some organisations that organise such internships(like the university of dreams). However, you have to pay to join before they find you anything-is this above aboard?

I'm heading to the west coast this weekend and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which beach is the best over there. Ive searched the net but still no help. My options are between Naples beach, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel or Captiva. Something in that area. I'm looking for somewhere that's perfect for just laying out and relaxing, but also having the option of some shopping or dining around.

(I'm Canadian by the way but curious. I have done extensive travelling through about 3/4 of the states over the last 35 years and just love them all. My choice would be the deep south)

This isnt a really deep question or anything, but I just wanted to see why people think certain states are the best and why.

For me, its Virginia!!! Its got everything! The beautiful Appalachians in the West, the peaceful and quiet eastern shore in the East, the rural and quiet South, the nation's capital and its HUGE and wealthy metropolitan area to the North, and Williamsburg (the birthplace of freedom) and the first permanent English settlement in the Americas in the Southeast corner. Not to mention we are home to the most US presidents of any state and we have been voted to have the nicest state parks of any state in the union.

And its my home state :)

I'm eager to hear your answers and see some strong state pride!!!

Hi, I live in MD and just been to skyline drive. I wonder if there is anything fundamentally different between the skyline Dr. and the blue ridge that makes it worth a trip to the ridge? because going to the ridge meaning I have to first drive pass the skyline for approx. 1.5hr, thank you!!

I am thinking about visiting Seattle next year. I am trying to decide whether to fly or drive, because it would probably be as cheap to fly there as it would be to drive. (I live in Oklahoma)But that means either renting a car or public transportation.

So I was wondering what type of public transportation there is to visit the area and how much it costs.

Ok so..

I was born in Houston,TX

I now live south of Pittsburgh,

I chill in the projects smoke blunts and listen to rap and also have a lot of ghetto black friends that I chill with all the time.

But at the same time I love hunting, collecting and shooting guns, driving trucks, going to dirt track car racing in the country, listening to johnny cash and hank williams jr, and chewing redman and skoal.

I also have plans to join the army with in the next year.

What would you call me.

My parents are travelling from Canada to the US soon and I have asked them to try to find a toy car for my son and send it to me in Sweden. It would be a large package and much cheaper for them to send from the US instead of from Canada. My question--------Do you need ID to send a package from there? They can use my aunt's adress in PA if you must have a US return address? Anyone know? And just to clarify I have been unable to find this item outside of the US.
Thanks:-)

please keep in mind I am a 26 year old asian male professional. I heard Atlanta is still somewhat segregated and certain races prefer to keep to themselves ( I am from Los Angeles where all ethnicities are pretty mixed and open) My current job has positions open nationwide so finding work is not a problem for me.

I am considering factors such as cost of living, entertainment options, job market, culture of people living there, etc..... ANy help would be greatly appreciated from people who know both cities.
